Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in CPG sourcing, supplier management, or category management, with a proven track record in the U.S. market

Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new CPG suppliers that align with the company’s quality standards and strategic goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring reliable supply chains and favorable terms
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and potential suppliers in the CPG industry
  • Lead contract negotiations with CPG suppliers, focusing on terms that maximize value, ensure quality, and mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to draft, review, and finalize contracts that align with company policies and objectives
  • Manage contract renewals, amendments, and compliance to ensure ongoing alignment with business goals
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that expand our CPG product portfolio while meeting market demands and customer expectations
  • Oversee the end-to-end product sourcing process, from initial supplier engagement to final product delivery
  • Collaborate with the Category Management team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Own the performance of the CPG product category, setting and achieving goals related to revenue, profitability, and market penetration
  • Work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to drive category performance and ensure products meet customer needs
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with profitability
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis to understand customer preferences, competitor offerings, and industry trends
  • Use insights from market analysis to inform product development, sourcing strategies, and category management decisions
  • Develop long-term strategies for the CPG category that align with the company’s overall business objectives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the successful launch and management of CPG products
  • Lead cross-functional teams to address challenges, optimize processes, and drive continuous improvement in the CPG category
