Summary
Join Velocity Global's in-house Creative team as the Creative Director, reporting to the Head of Brand. You will lead the visual design team, manage agency partners, and drive the company's creative vision. Responsibilities include overseeing resource allocation, budget management, and creative strategy across various channels. You will craft compelling content, conduct trend research, and motivate the team to achieve strategic goals. This is a remote role based in the United States, requiring a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 7+ years in creative leadership roles. A strong digital portfolio showcasing successful campaigns is essential.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant creative field
- 7+ years of experience in creative/design leadership roles, with a focus on brand and campaign work in a fast-paced, B2B, SaaS, or tech environment
- Digital portfolio demonstrating successful integrated campaigns and brand projects
- Experience with budget management for staffing, production, and operations
- Familiarity with creative production contracts, agency retainers, and photo shoots
- Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and knowledge of design and multimedia best practices
- Knowledge of brand development and multichannel marketing, with a global perspective
- Hands-on approach and commitment to high-quality content delivery
- Analytical and research skills, with a track record of measuring and achieving results
Responsibilities
- Direct the visual design team, overseeing resource allocation, budget management, and creative strategy to enhance the brand through impactful content
- Lead the design process from brainstorming to hands-on development, crafting exceptional deliverables with a consistent focus on excellence
- Work with team members and partners to create compelling content for Velocity Global's diverse audiences
- Lead cross-channel campaign development, including digital, social media, sales collateral, events, and more
- Conduct research trends to inform customer-centric, culturally relevant creative work
- Motivate the team to align with strategic goals and produce exceptional work
- Collaborate to refine and improve Velocity Global's brand identity
- Increase team productivity by aligning projects with individual strengths and development needs
- Cultivate partnerships with agencies, freelancers, and internal collaborators
- Champion an inclusive, dynamic creative culture as a brand steward
Preferred Qualifications
Experience across both B2B and B2C is preferred, with a mix of background in both agency and in-house roles
