Summary
Join our team as a Freelance Creative Editor and provide editing support to TubeScience's internal creative team. Assemble, revise, and finish editing projects based on communicated creative direction and performance insights.
Requirements
- Must first pass a Technology Audit to be considered
- Must work US daytime hours (available M-F, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm PST)
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Media Encoder with a knowledge of After Effects and the entire Adobe Suite
- Experience with Motion Graphic Templates and Premiereβs Essential Graphics Panel
- 2+ years experience editing for social media and digital platforms (advertising content a big plus)
- Understanding of social media best practices and ecosystem trends
- Online editing skills: color correction, music supervision, sound mixing
- A firm grasp of digital camera formats, frame rates, codecs and file-based workflows
- Excellent communication and comprehension skills in English (both written and verbal)
- Able to take direction well and conduct a thorough review of own work
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage editing many projects at once
- Familiarity with web-based collaboration tools, such as Frame.io, Zoom, Monday & Slack
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Flexible and able to adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Able to conduct themselves in a professional, remote-first environment
Responsibilities
- Edit creative digital advertising video content for social media platforms
- Communicate with client pod Creative Producers and Leads to ensure edits are executed based on performance goals
- Receive and implement creative direction and feedback from teammates and clients
- Actively implement performance editing best practices, with a focus on maximizing viewer engagement and comprehension
- Thoroughly review completed work for technical and quality errors and ensure that all outputs are aligned with specified brand and legal guidelines
- Deliver completed edits and revisions by established deadlines
- Follow internal post-production naming and organizational guidelines
- Work efficiently and maintain project file and server hygiene
- Contribute to researching and requesting internal and external media assets
