Summary

The Creative Intern will support the design team in producing dynamic and unique designs for digital and print media. Duties include executing engaging designs, brainstorming layout solutions, preparing files for production, managing social media content calendars, providing day-to-day support to the creative team, researching images, and assisting with film and photography content capture. The intern should be a student of the industry, keeping up with the latest trends and emerging platforms.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a University or Master’s program and local to the NYC area
  • Must be a graphic design, or related title, major. Creative Advertising, Media Studies, and Film Studies also accepted design-oriented work samples
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator. Adobe Premiere + After Effects a plus)
  • Knowledge of Figma is a plus
  • Skilled in design, typography, and branding
  • Interest in commercial film, video advertising, and social media content creation
  • Time management ability, capacity to receive multiple assignments at once

Responsibilities

  • Execute engaging designs and artwork that are aligned with overall design direction
  • Brainstorm unique layout solutions
  • Prepare final files for print and digital production
  • Layout content calendar for social media platforms
  • Provide overall day-to-day support to the creative team
  • Research and source images and references
  • Assist occasions of film + photography content capture
