Content Analysis Intern

Summary

ODK Media is seeking a Content Analysis Intern - European Market to collaborate with the Content Business team, analyze content performance, and oversee translation and subtitle work. The intern should have fluency in English, a Bachelor's Degree in progress, and native fluency in German, French, or Spanish is highly desirable.

Requirements

• Fluency in English. Native fluency in German, French, OR Spanish highly desirable
• In-Progress Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Film Studies, Theater, Cinema (or related field of study)

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth content analyses for French, German, Spanish, and English movies
• Analyze title performance and research ongoing trends in key content metrics for each language and legion
• Analyze key business drivers, trends, and performance indicators in collaboration with the Creative and Content operation and service teams
• Identify nuances within various movie and TV genres, distill the essence of films/series, and share findings objectively and concisely
• Assist in evaluating key performance analytics to optimize programming strategy and help establish content valuation frameworks for future content acquisitions, ongoing programming, and investment decisions
• Work cross-functionally with other teams, including Marketing, and Consumer Insights
• Help maintain quality control over translation and subtitle work support

Preferred Qualifications

• A passionate consumer or follower of at least one type of German, French, or Spanish video content (films, series, documentaries, etc.)
• Familiarity with global streaming landscape and European entertainment industry
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, including presentation abilities
• Strong time management and communication skills, with curiosity about and knowledge of the product being a plus
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, or other data tracking and management systems is advantageous
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment
