Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in credentialing, HR operations, or a similar role
  • Be familiar with federal and state compliance requirements related to credentialing and onboarding
  • Have knowledge of training and access requirements for contract compliance, ensuring adherence to deadlines
  • Be proficient in HRIS platforms and credentialing systems
  • Have strong knowledge of standard operating procedure (SOP) development and maintenance
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
  • Have the ability to collaborate effectively with program managers, contract leads, and other stakeholders
  • Have a strong customer service orientation, especially when guiding new hires through onboarding processes
  • Possess exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Have strong problem-solving skills to address credentialing challenges and ensure compliance
  • Have a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement in SOPs and credentialing processes
  • Have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information securely
  • Be proficient in GSuite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc)
  • Be legally authorized to work in the United States and meet any other requirements for government contracts for which they are hired
  • Have work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future
  • May be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances

Responsibilities

  • Create and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for existing contracts, incorporating contract-specific requirements gathered from program managers and contract leads
  • Regularly review SOPs to identify areas for improvement, ensuring they stay current with compliance regulations and organizational changes
  • Validate SOP updates with program managers to ensure alignment with each contract's objectives
  • Meet with program managers and contract leads to establish specific onboarding requirements for new contracts
  • Coordinate with Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs) to gather detailed onboarding needs, ensuring People Operations support aligns with contract requirements
  • Process initial credentialing and recredentialing applications
  • Guide new hires through the agency onboarding process by providing clear instructions and ongoing support
  • Ensure onboarding tasks are being completed accurately, in compliance with standards, and within the required timeframe, while keeping program managers informed of progress
  • Oversee different internal communication channels to ensure all credentialing-related questions are answered
  • Obtain necessary access to contract systems for onboarding purposes, facilitating smooth onboarding for all new hires and supporting overall contract compliance
  • Ensure training is being completed ahead of deadlines for contract compliance
  • Ensure record keeping accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience working in the government contracting space and/or credentialing experience in healthcare
  • Be proficient in JIRA
