  • Show proficiency in using financial analysis software and tools
  • Exhibit a keen eye for detail along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to evaluate the creditworthiness of potential and existing clients
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to gauge the likelihood of repayment and identify potential credit risks
  • Prepare detailed reports with recommendations for credit limits and terms
  • Perform in-depth analysis of clients' financial health, focusing on liquidity, profitability, and cash flow
  • Regularly monitor and review clients' financial performance to detect any changes in credit risk
  • Make informed credit decisions and present findings to senior management and stakeholders
  • Prepare and present regular reports, highlighting key trends, risks, and mitigation strategies
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and legal teams to ensure alignment on credit policies and decisions
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders in German to gather necessary information and explain credit decisions
  • Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate credit risk and protect company assets
