Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in CRM Development in Braze including 2 years as a Software Engineer (GoLang preferred or experience with Java or Python)
- Strong proficiency in Braze CRM Development, 2+ years of experience of developing on top of braze (Emails, IAM, Whatsup, Push, Content cards etc)
- Strong proficiency in Administering and Configuring Braze
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals (conditionals, loops, comparisons, filtering, assigning variables, and variable types.)
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for crafting and styling dynamic notifications
- Experience with templating languages such as Handlebars.js, Mustache, Liquid, MJML or similar templating language
- Experience leveraging JSON data models when building templates
- Understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
- Experienced with leveraging RESTful APIs
- Experience with Git
- Braze Developer Certification required
- English at C1 level
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience collaborating with designers, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver technical solutions that meet business objectives
Responsibilities
- Analyze and Clarify Client Needs Collaborate with clients to understand their CRM requirements for emails, push notifications, in-app messages, and more, translating them into technical specifications
- Execute Customer Requests Perform code changes, enhancements, and bug fixes in Braze to meet client needs and improve system functionality
- Support Brand Growth Develop and implement innovative CRM solutions using Braze to drive the ongoing growth of the brand
- Optimize Message Development Use best practices in developing emails, push notifications, and in-app messages, ensuring compliance with regulations and accessibility standards
- Prepare and Execute Campaigns Design, develop, and deploy Braze campaigns with dynamic content to maximize engagement across various message types
- Perform Quality Checks Conduct rigorous quality checks on all Braze CRM solutions to ensure accuracy, performance, and reliability
- Investigate Performance Issues Diagnose and resolve performance problems in Braze campaigns and CRM systems to ensure optimal delivery and engagement rates
- Collaborate with Teammates Work with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and workflows in Braze for better efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working an agency setting or working with external clients
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and retrieval
- Braze Certifications (Braze Practitioner, Braze Marketeer, Braze Strategist, Braze Technical Architect)
- Design skills
