Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field
• Basic understanding of genetics and familiarity with common genetic concepts and terminology
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and basic data entry software
• Eagerness to learn and adapt t:o new technologies and processes

Responsibilities

• Independently curate and organize case reports related to genetic variants in accordance with established protocols
• Utilize basic knowledge in genetics to detect and flag potential false positives or inconsistencies within datasets
• Perform quality assurance tasks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data entries
• Collaborate with team members in group discussions to identify areas for software and process improvement
• Assist with basic data entry tasks as needed to support ongoing projects
• Maintain clear and detailed documentation of data entry procedures and quality control measures

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in variant curation
• Familiarity with clinical data and its curation and organization
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and compliance in genetics/genomics research
• Experience in writing grant proposals or contributing to research publications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data interpretation and quality control
