Summary

Join Williamsburg Learning as the Director of Curriculum and lead the development, assessment, and revision of our curriculum. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to create a comprehensive curriculum roadmap, develop new courses, and update existing ones. You will also lead professional development initiatives and represent WL to internal and external stakeholders. Requirements

  • Hold a Master’s Degree in Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or a related field, or at least three years of experience in curriculum development
  • Demonstrate an understanding of generative AI and its applications in education
  • Demonstrate proven experience in collaborating with faculty/instructors on curriculum projects
  • Demonstrate proven experience in leading, managing, and holding accountable a team

Responsibilities

  • Create a Curriculum Development Roadmap in collaboration with the CAO and other company leaders
  • Lead and Project Manage The Development of New Williamsburg Curriculum Courses, ensuring they provide transformational learning experiences for students, meet and are aligned to applicable state standards, follow WL best practices, and ensure a similar structure and feel to other WL courses
  • Lead and Project Manage Curriculum Updates to Existing Curriculum, providing leadership and feedback on the ongoing development, improvement, and evaluation of curriculum
  • Support and communicate with Program Leaders to oversee developments and updates to The Williamsburg Curriculum within their programs
  • Oversee development and updates to Canvas courses within their programs and ensure they align with Williamsburg Academic Standards
  • Ensure alignment with State Required Testing as required by school partners
  • Lead Professional Development on Curriculum, assisting the CAO, Instructional Coach, and Program Leaders
  • Represent WL in Demonstrating and Reviewing Curriculum with Internal and External Stakeholders, assisting the CAO & COO in answering questions and presenting the curriculum

Preferred Qualifications

  • Show proven project management experience and/or project management certification
  • Experience building courses within Canvas and/or working with IXL, Star Assessments, online math programs, AP programs, and/or The Williamsburg Curriculum
