Summary
Join Kao as a Customer Business Manager and develop annual and long-term business plans to achieve sales targets. Working remotely, you'll manage several Kao customers in the West region/nationally, reporting to the Associate Director of Sales. You will drive marketplace results using benchmarking, category management, and trade marketing strategies. This role requires developing joint business plans, negotiating promotional activities, and analyzing data to identify trends. Quarterly travel to the West coast of Canada for customer meetings is required. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-2+ years experience in sales and trade marketing management experience in CPG industry
- Experience in a beauty care environment with solid understanding of Hair care & Skin care categories
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business plans and promotional programs to achieve the sales budget and increase our market share
- Negotiate all promotional activity, listings, distribution and shelf placement at the account
- Negotiate annual business plan and trade terms
- Work with Category Management and Trade Marketing to provide support on decisions and strategic direction for the account
- Analyze a large volume of data with the ability to spot trends and use your interpretation of the numbers to create a positive outcome
- Regular and routine visits to Account head office to meet with Account personnel
- Regular retail store visit responsibilities to observe store level dynamics and learn
- Overall responsibility for your account P&L
