Summary

Join ecobee's energy team as a Customer Success Manager and contribute to a cleaner energy future. Collaborate with business development, sales, product, operations, and finance teams to implement and launch energy efficiency programs. Manage relationships with existing and future partners, acting as the primary point of contact. Work closely with ecobee product teams to identify product roadmap gaps and opportunities. Represent ecobee at industry conferences and events. Support energy partners with eco+/API integration, troubleshooting, and customer support. Identify and collaborate on new business opportunities. This role requires strong project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. The position offers flexible work arrangements and a chance to make a positive environmental impact.

Requirements

  • You’re an experienced Sales Professional with 3+ years of experience in Sales Support, Project and/or Account Management
  • You have experience with the energy sector or in managing utility programs, and an understanding of clean technology
  • You pride yourself on exceptional project management skills and the ability to multi-task, including the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proven track record of working with cross functional groups and departments
  • You like to think big picture and strategically while still being able to manage the day to day details
  • Flexible, able to work in a fluid environment and willing to roll your sleeves up to get the job done
  • Strong written, organizational, communication and oral presentation skills
  • Build and sustain strong internal/external business relationships

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with business development team and sales managers in implementing and launching energy efficiency and demand response /community energy savings programs by collaborating with Product, Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure that programs are being managed effectively
  • You will be the point person managing all activity and relationships with future and existing partners
  • Work closely with ecobee product teams to identify gaps and opportunities in product roadmap, being the voice of energy partners internally at ecobee
  • Manage day-to-day tasks that come up, responding with appropriate prioritization and focus on what needs to be done
  • Represent ecobee’s values of planet positivity, innovation and integrity at Industry Conferences and Events and through day-to-day communications
  • Assist our many Energy partners who bring ecobee devices to market.  Support partners with setting up and navigating eco+/API integration, troubleshooting, customer support inquiries and orders/returns
  • General understanding/context of regulatory side utilities, solid understanding of Demand Response, Energy Efficiency and Utility Energy Markets
  • Identify and collaborate on new opportunities by supporting the sales team
  • General understand of program regulatory requirements, shifts in program models, trends and standard best practises

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with customer CRM tools (Netsuite, Salesforce) is an asset
