Requirements

• Proficiency in security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001)
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, and content filtering
• Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) solutions
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC, or CompTIA Security+

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in the system
• Lead the response to security incidents, manage the investigation, and provide remediation strategies
• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the safety of the organization’s digital assets
• Identify, assess, and mitigate security risks associated with the organization's IT infrastructure
• Design and implement robust security architectures for new and existing IT systems
• Conduct security awareness training for employees to educate them on security best practices and protocols
• Monitor network traffic and system logs for unusual activity and potential threats
