Join BeyondTrust as an Event Marketing Manager and lead the planning, development, and execution of event marketing strategies for tradeshows, conferences, and other industry events. You will be responsible for developing event strategies, overseeing event execution, managing budgets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of experience in event marketing, with a focus on tradeshow management
- Proven experience in managing and executing large-scale tradeshows, conferences, and corporate events, ideally within the cybersecurity or technology sector
- Strong project management skills with a keen eye for detail, budget management, and logistics coordination
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience with event marketing technologies (e.g., lead capture, CRM tools, event apps)
- Ability to manage multiple projects, calendars, workflows, and communications simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Creative thinker with a passion for building compelling, engaging event experiences
- Willingness to travel nationally, as needed for event coordination and on-site management
- 4+ years of proven experience in B2B marketing (enterprise software, SaaS, Security, Identity, etc.)
- Must be comfortable with reporting and communicating marketing impact across the organization
- Analytically inclined, exceptional organizational skills, with rigorous attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with tight deadlines
- Experience delivering, accelerating, and expanding sales pipeline through event experiences
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Eloqua, Craft, Tableau (or other marketing automation and analytics tools)
- Experience negotiating with and managing external suppliers, agencies and venues and coordinating a wide range of services, including space allocation, traditional and digital signage, attendee flows, security, food & beverage, temp staff sourcing and management, transportation, giveaways, etc
- Analytically inclined and metrics-driven with rigorous attention to detail; great at solving complex problems with a curious and creative mindset
- Team player with exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work strategically and tactically to execute multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and changing environment with tight deadlines
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- Ability to travel when needed (~40%+ depending upon tradeshow seasonality)
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of event strategies and marketing plans for US and America's tradeshows, conferences, and other live events to meet overall business objectives
- Identify key industry events, select appropriate shows, and develop event calendars in alignment with marketing and sales goals
- Collaborate with sales and product teams to ensure event participation aligns with strategic objectives and product launches
- Oversee end-to-end event execution, including logistics, budgeting, vendor management, and coordination of booth designs and layouts
- Coordinate with internal and external teams to develop event materials, promotional content, giveaways, and presentations
- Manage event timelines, deadlines, and day-of-event operations to ensure seamless execution
- Work closely with the Marketing leadership, Sales, and Partner Ecosystem teams to create lead generation strategies before, during, and after events
- Track and analyze ROI from tradeshow participation and other events, adjusting strategies as necessary to improve performance
- Measure event success through metrics such as lead volume, sales conversions, customer engagement, and brand exposure
- Develop and manage event budgets to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising event quality
- Negotiate with vendors and venues to secure the best possible pricing and services for event needs
- Partner with the marketing, sales, and product teams to create integrated marketing campaigns that leverage event participation
- Work with internal creative teams to develop booth designs, collateral, signage, and digital assets
- Collaborate with PR and social media teams to amplify event promotion through various channels
- Oversee post-event activities such as lead follow-up, thank-you emails, and surveys to assess event performance
- Provide reports and analysis to leadership regarding event success, feedback, and opportunities for improvement
- Use feedback to refine and optimize future event strategies
