Summary
Join GuidePoint Security's internship program and gain hands-on cybersecurity experience. This part-time, remote, paid internship offers opportunities in technical development, real-world security response, and collaborative projects. You'll work with industry experts, complete training programs, and enhance your skills through shadowing and vendor certifications. The program runs from May 19 to August 8, 2025, requiring 25-29 hours per week between 11 am and 4 pm EST. Successful candidates will be full-time college students pursuing a cybersecurity-related degree with a basic understanding of IT and a passion for information security. The internship includes an in-person onboarding and requires a personal computer and high-speed internet access.
Requirements
- Be enrolled full-time in a college or university with an expected graduation in 2025/2026
- Be pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security or another relevant major
- Have a basic understanding of information technology, networking, operating systems and security
- Have a genuine passion for information security
- Be motivated and eager to learn new skills
Responsibilities
- Work 25-29 hours between 11am-4pm EST Monday through Friday
- Attend an in-person onboarding from May 19β22, 2025, at either our Reston, VA or Tampa, FL office (location to be confirmed)
- Have a personal computing device and access to high-speed internet during working hours
