Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field
- 8+ years of experience as a Microsoft D365 Supply Chain and Production Consultant
- Direct experience successfully helping organizations optimize their manufacturing operations, improve product quality, and achieve greater operational efficiency
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes, including production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and quality control
- Deep understanding of D365 Solution functionality as it relates to the client's requirements, with previously experience creating and managing production orders, BOMs, and work centers
- Proven experience in leading end-to-end D365 implementation projects
- Expert level of competency in configuration and customizations in D365 Production
- Confidence to guide others in developing the different components of functional specification and documentation
- Understanding of discrete, lean, and process manufacturing
Responsibilities
- Engage in value-adding business and application consultancy that manage and streamline manufacturing processes for clients
- Lead D365 Production and/or Supply Chain implementations from analysis phase and onward with little supervision from the Functional Solution Architect in a highly visible, client-facing role
- Implement and configure D365 Production functionalities, including: production planning, production scheduling, bill of materials (BOM), production orders, shop floor control, inventory management, quality management, cost management, and reporting and analytics
- Guide teams on project processes, deliverables, and contribute to the proposal development, client training, and internal capability building, help detail the project scope
- Carry out prototyping plans, design, configuration, testing, procedure documentation, and deployment, and communicate with your team
