Data Analyst

Summary

Join a leading trading platform as a Data Analyst and contribute to driving overall strategy through data analysis and actionable insights. This role requires advanced data skills, problem-solving abilities, and business-level English proficiency.

Requirements

• Advanced Data Skills: Demonstrated mastery in crafting and optimising complex SQL queries and managing large datasets. Proficiency in Python/R for data analysis and exploration. Ability to build dashboards as needed
• Problem-solving and Adaptability: Exceptional problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges, coupled with the adaptability to learn and implement new technologies and tools as needed
• Business level proficiency in English or above (equivalent to B2 or above in CEFR)
• Strong knowledge of Python
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Proficiency in Tableau

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise complex SQL queries to manage and analyse large datasets
• Use Python/R for data analysis, exploration, and to build predictive models
• Create and maintain dashboards to visualise key metrics and performance indicators
• Identify trends and insights from data to recommend and implement improvements in our strategies
• Collaborate with the team to design and execute A/B tests and other experimentations to optimise performance
• Utilise your strong background in maths and statistics to conduct rigorous data analysis and ensure the accuracy of insights and recommendations
• Adapt to new technologies and tools to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with a background in math and statistics
• Knowledge of Python/R and data visualisation tools
• Experience with performance marketing channels and tools
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Practical experience with API integrations and connecting systems, particularly with third-party services such as Google, Facebook, Firebase, and AppsFlyer AND/OR proficiency in Python for script writing, task automation, and improving integration processes
