Data Analyst

Summary

Join Encora as a Senior Data Analyst/Data Scientist and leverage advanced analytics and data storytelling to deliver business-critical insights. You will partner with stakeholders, build data pipelines, and use statistical modeling to solve complex problems. Present actionable insights to senior management and support BI reporting. This role requires 7+ years of experience with Python/SQL and proficiency in data visualization tools. You will manage large datasets, execute hypothesis testing, and balance multiple stakeholder needs in a fast-paced environment. The position is full-time and remote.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with Python/SQL (or equivalent) programming for data analysis
• Strong experience with data modeling, mining, and engineering solutions
• Proficient in BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or MicroStrategy
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to clearly present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to address data collection, analysis, and insight generation
• Use statistical modeling and predictive analysis to solve strategic and operational problems
• Deliver actionable insights and prepare data-driven presentations for senior management
• Support business intelligence (BI) reporting, database production, and ad hoc analysis
• Execute hypothesis testing to understand acquisition and demand trends
• Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Airflow and other tools
• Manage and analyze large datasets using Python/SQL for deep data mining
• Balance multiple stakeholder needs in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with GCP BigQuery and Presto
• Experience with distributed data processing and orchestration tools (Kafka, Flink, Spark, Airflow, Apache Beam)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
• Ability to reconcile priorities among multiple teams in high-impact environments
