Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- A passion and curiosity for solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
- Ability to take complex data and present it in a clear and simple manner
- Ability to focus in a fast paced environment and multitask
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Mode, Periscope, ThoughtSpot, Tableau etc
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
Responsibilities
- Build dashboards & develop backend capabilities of our Data Exploration tools (Mode, Looker, dbtCloud)
- Foster adoption of our data exploration tool across the organization
- Liaise with business stakeholders to identify data driven projects and opportunities
- Perform deep dive analysis using appropriate advanced analytics techniques to give business insights & recommendations
- Critique existing workflows & data pipelines to identify opportunities for optimization or improved efficiency
- Work with several stakeholder teams (listed below) to design, test and analyze user behavior data on our apps & websites
- Has experience working with Fraud & AML, Responsible Gaming, Content, Sales, Operations or the Executive Suite
- Design, create, execute and measure results from A/B and multivariate testing
- Liaise with data engineers to build data pipelines and solve related issues
- Continuously improve analytics implementation and adapt to changing technologies
- Stay on top of emerging trends in the digital industry
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dbt Core or dbtCloud is extremely helpful but not required
- Familiarity with analysis tools; R or Python packages are preferred
