Data Analyst

Summary

Join Ratehub's newly formed Data Team as a Data Analyst and become a key player in driving data-driven decisions across the company. Based in downtown Toronto with remote options, you will lead end-to-end analytics, develop and maintain business metrics dashboards, collaborate on A/B testing, and contribute to shaping business strategy. This role requires 2+ years of experience, proficiency in SQL, and a strong understanding of BI tools. Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant work experience
• Post-secondary degree
• High proficiency with SQL for data analysis
• Strong understanding of BI & reporting tools e.g. Looker, Tableau, Sisense, QlikView

Responsibilities

• Lead end to end analytics workflow to deliver analysis which is statistically sound and understandable for non technical stakeholders
• Own the design, development and maintenance of business metrics and KPI dashboards proactively discussing emerging trends along with recommendations with business stakeholders
• Support in developing and maintaining our data model by understanding key data sources and relationships between them
• Collaborate with business partners on experimentation design and a/b testing
• Drive org wide impact by shaping business strategy through data centric analysis and presentations

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Python or R
• Experience with a web analytics tool to support product and marketing analysis
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Detail oriented: High standard of data quality and integrity
• Resourceful: You don’t have all the answers, but you know how to get them
• Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities
• Adaptable to a fast paced environment and able to pivot quickly to align with changing priorities
