Data Analyst

Join Tailscale as a full-time Data Analyst and become a key member of our team, owning data and analytics to drive company growth. You will transform data into actionable insights, collaborating with various teams to create meaningful narratives and self-service tools. This cross-functional role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualization tools, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. You will build and maintain dashboards, analyze key metrics, and provide insights to leadership. Requirements

• Experience in a data analysis role, preferably in B2B SaaS and Growth
• Strong understanding of sales processes, revenue operations, and GTM motions
• Knowledge of SQL, and widely used tools like Salesforce, Snowflake, and dbt
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI)
• Ability to give and process constructive feedback, as well as work independently
• Ability to communicate openly, supporting and championing innovation and inclusivity
• Flexibility to adjust to the dynamic nature of a startup, and adept at dealing with ambiguity

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards to track key GTM metrics across sales, marketing, and revenue operations
• Analyze sales pipeline, conversion rates, and customer acquisition metrics to identify trends and opportunities
• Develop and automate reporting workflows to improve team efficiency
• Create and maintain documentation of data sources, metrics definitions, and analysis methodologies
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and success metrics for GTM initiatives, including product-led growth metrics (user acquisition, activation, retention, etc.) by developing data strategies to provide these insights
• Provide regular insights and recommendations to the leadership team
