Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • A passion and curiosity for solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
  • Ability to take complex data and present it in a clear and simple manner
  • Ability to focus in a fast paced environment and multitask
  • Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Mode, Periscope, ThoughtSpot, Tableau etc
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills

Responsibilities

  • Build dashboards & develop backend capabilities of our Data Exploration tools (Mode, Looker, dbtCloud)
  • Foster adoption of our data exploration tool across the organization
  • Liaise with business stakeholders to identify data driven projects and opportunities
  • Perform deep dive analysis using appropriate advanced analytics techniques to give business insights & recommendations
  • Critique existing workflows & data pipelines to identify opportunities for optimization or improved efficiency
  • Work with several stakeholder teams (listed below) to design, test and analyze user behavior data on our apps & websites
  • Has experience working with Fraud & AML, Responsible Gaming, Content, Sales, Operations or the Executive Suite
  • Design, create, execute and measure results from A/B and multivariate testing
  • Liaise with data engineers to build data pipelines and solve related issues
  • Continuously improve analytics implementation and adapt to changing technologies
  • Stay on top of emerging trends in the digital industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with dbt Core or dbtCloud is extremely helpful but not required
  • Familiarity with analysis tools; R or Python packages are preferred
