Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Similar from a four-year college or university
- 5+ years as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst
- Strong competency in SQL
- Experience in a practical working environment with R and Python
- Ability to organize and work with large amounts of complex information
- Strong quantitative, and analytical problem-solving skills
- Understanding of compliance requirements for financial reporting
- Comfortable in creating strong relationships with internal and external teams
- Excellent presentation and communication skills including presenting in formal and large group settings
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and constructively with a range of stakeholders to drive positive change
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with superior attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Monitor business processes, establish efficiency metrics, and identify optimization opportunities through analysis of large datasets
- Derive insights to validate business programs by assessing alignment between estimated and applied amounts, and identifying drivers behind observed deltas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, organize, and analyze data for business processes
- Analyze existing business reports to ensure consistency and identify upstream data quality issues early
- Create and maintain strategic reports to support business operations and decision-making
- Validate data flows to ensure the accuracy and integrity of business data pipelines
- Manipulate and organize complex datasets to provide actionable insights and process improvements
- Assess processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose actionable solutions
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Develop a strong understanding of data pipelines, validation processes, and consistency checks in business data
- Collaborate effectively with business partners and communicate insights clearly to non-technical audiences
- Manage tasks efficiently while mentoring team members to enhance collaboration and knowledge-sharing
