Summary
Join Belle, a rapidly growing healthcare company, as a full-time Data Analytics Developer. You will build SQL reports and visualizations in Metabase, make targeted Rails code changes to support healthcare operations analytics, and transform data into actionable insights for leadership. Requirements
- SQL: Comfortable with complex joins, CTEs, window functions, and PostgreSQL
- Rails: 0-2 years experience with Rails applications, ActiveRecord, migrations
- Python: 1-2 years experience in building tooling
- Data Visualization: Experience with BI tools (Metabase strongly preferred, Tableau/PowerBI acceptable)
- GitHub: Version control workflows and collaboration
- Problem-solving: Analytical mindset with attention to detail
- AWS services and S3 data querying (Athena primarily)
- Dbt: Basic understanding of data transformation workflows and models
- Cloud Storage: Familiarity with S3 or similar object storage for data files
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain SQL queries for business intelligence dashboards in Metabase
- Build reports on appointment fulfillment, technician performance, and member outcomes
- Develop visualizations for operational metrics & dashboards
- Support ad-hoc data requests from leadership and operations teams
- Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot reporting discrepancies
- Make targeted code changes to support reporting requirements
- Add new database fields, models, or relationships as needed for strengthening analytics
- Implement basic API endpoints for data extraction when necessary
- Write and maintain database migrations
- Follow existing code patterns and conventions
- Document reporting processes and data definitions/dictionaries
- Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting tasks
- Identify opportunities to automate manual support resolutions (scale yourself)
- Collaborate with team to improve data collection and quality
