Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in social science, statistics, business, or other field focused on empirical research with survey data
- Experience and understanding of market research and data analysis, including familiarity with modern statistical, econometric, and machine learning techniques
- Computational skills: strong R programming skills, with the ability to recruit, train, and manage technical talent
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented code
- Ability to connect data with business problems
- Skilled at communicating results and research methodology though reports
- Excellent project manager with exceptional collaboration skills displaying ability to work cross functionally pursuing the best interest of the company
Responsibilities
- Solve difficult data problems when they arise and explain solutions clearly to business leaders
- Collaborate with product managers to improve the quality of data and analytics in our products
- Introduce new methods and techniques into our data products suite, such as causal inference, machine learning, and generative AI
- Exercise considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment while working independently on complex research projects β including methods selection, techniques, and evaluation criteria
- Author white papers, prepare ad hoc reports, and deliver in-person presentations to communicate results
- Work collaboratively with the existing data science team
