Data & Analytics Engineer

Summary

ANYbotics is seeking a dynamic and experienced Data & Analytics Engineer to join their team and help shape the future of robotics by working on their BI Data Platform. The role offers an opportunity to work closely with the Director Business Intelligence and contribute to the company's rapid growth and international expansion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a similar field of study
• Proven experience (3+ years) in a data engineering / analytics engineering role, including a track record in building a BI Data Platform
• Expertise in SQL and experience with dbt
• Hands-on experience implementing ETL/ELT processes
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with cloud based data warehouses (ex. Snowflake, Redshift) and ETL/ELT tools (ex. Fivetran, Tray)

Responsibilities

• Build up and maintain a company-wide BI Data Platform (including integration of relevant source data)
• Work closely with business and tool owners to understand data generating processes and convert raw business data into trusted and validated analytics-ready data sets
• Design and implement data models, build data pipelines, and leverage SQL queries for clean, tested, documented and well-defined data marts
• Act as the technical expert to decide and build the best data extraction, storage, transformation and scheduling methods for different business use cases and data sources
• Enforce data governance policies to maintain data integrity, security and quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Can-do attitude and a very open and engaging personality with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
• Independent self-starter with well-structured ways of working
• Experience with working with APIs to extract data from a variety of data sources
• Experience with the modern data stack tools is a big plus
• Ability to work with cloud platforms (ex. AWS) is a plus
• Knowledge and experience with application of software engineering best practices to analytics code (ex. version control, CI/CD) is a plus
