Summary

Join Productive Playhouse as a contract-based Spanish speaker to participate in a project involving voice recording for search engine training. The project entails recording scripted phrases in a code-mixed format (Spanish and English) using a provided app. The total work time is approximately 7 hours, spread out over one month, at your own pace. Compensation is a one-time payment of USD $150. You will need proficiency in Spanish and English, along with reliable internet access and a computer. Flexible scheduling is a benefit of this project-based role.

Responsibilities

• Record your own voice in a quiet environment
• Submit recordings in a timely manner
• For this audio collection project you will record a variety of spoken sentences. Through an app, you will be shown a code-mixed prompt and speak aloud a new sentence that is inspired/similar to what is on the screen instead of reading exactly what you see. It is important that the spoken sentence is also code-mixed and contains both languages

Preferred Qualifications

• Clear diction and pronunciation in the native language
• Prompt communication with the supervisor
