Requirements

• At least one (1) year of experience in technical data crawling, web scraping, data analysis, or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of data cleaning and pre-processing techniques
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data scraping and crawling
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot data collection and analysis issues
• At least 15mbps for main internet and at least 10mbps for backup
• A desktop or laptop that has an i5 processor with at least 8 GB RAM and an i3 processor for backup
• A webcam
• Noise-canceling USB Headset
• Quiet, Dedicated Home Office

Responsibilities

• Use tools and scripts to crawl websites, databases, and other online sources to extract relevant sales and marketing data
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of the collected data by performing data cleaning and preprocessing tasks
• Provide a clean list of collected data based on the requirements of the sales and marketing team
• Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align data collection efforts with business objectives

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with web scraping tools like BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, or Selenium
• Familiarity with databases and SQL
• Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
• Knowledge of sales and marketing principles
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
