Requirements

  • 7+ years of analytics, technology, or data science experience, with a minimum of 3 years in an advertising, marketing, analytics, or digital media company supporting multiple clients simultaneously
  • Experience managing team members, facilitating talent retention, providing growth and mentoring opportunities, articulating actionable goals, and resolving people issues
  • Experience implementing and configuring systems including web and app analytics, reporting and dashboards, and A/B/multivariate testing
  • Strong working understanding of technical marketing science skills and subject matter to ensure you can support and guide your team
  • Experience writing SQL to query, load, transform, and retrieve data from various databases
  • Experience with scripting and other languages such as Python, R, JavaScript, etc
  • Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence, including (but not limited to) Profile-based, behavioral, LTV, and other customer segmentation frameworks
  • Knowledge of Propensity, Look-Alike, Loyalty, Response, Net Lift, Journey Pathing, Recommender, and other customer-focused models
  • Understanding of Media mix and marketing attribution models
  • Knowledge of Leads, sales and other KPI time series predictive models
  • Ability to solve complex measurement and business challenges through creativity, while maintaining a commitment to self-directed learning to stay current on techniques, vendors, and the broader marketing landscape
  • Ability to produce client-ready written documents and presentation decks, along with strong public speaking skills to facilitate positive in-person client meetings and agency meetings
  • Strong management, interpersonal and communication skills; upbeat and confident presence to inspire team growth, encourage talent retention and motivate service excellence

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day-to-day RAPP analytics lead for client accounts, demonstrating familiarity with data science and tracking/tagging/taxonomy capabilities
  • Drive insight analysis of campaign results to optimize CRM, paid media, site/web, and omni-channel performance marketing campaigns across key optimization levers
  • Lead the development of measurement plans and frameworks to ensure proper KPI mapping, data collection, test and learn plans, ROI, and targeting to produce data-driven insights from campaigns and programs
  • Collaborate with Strategy, Experience Planning, Account, Client Services, and Creative discipline teams to produce actionable insights on customer behavior based on campaign results and analysis
  • Define requirements and produce campaign reports and analytics across CRM, paid media, and site/web programs
  • Work with the data science team to develop predictive analytics solutions using the latest applications of machine learning and AI
  • Codify best practices, create case studies, share methodologies, and define new standards in collaboration with colleagues at sister agencies
  • Participate in new business pitches, including team leadership, content creation, and in-room presentations
  • Oversee employee development plans, provide feedback, performance reviews, coaching, and training for direct reports
