Requirements
- A Computer Science, Engineering or STEM background
- Documented experience in similar positions, on ETL and data integration
- 3-4+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Proven experience with ETL processes and tools β on-prem & cloud
- Hands-on experience with data extraction from SAP
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure)
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and practices
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading
- Experience with ETL tools
- Knowledge of Python for ETL processes on cloud
- Familiarity with cloud-based data services (Azure)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
Responsibilities
- As a Data Engineer, you will be part of the Data Analytics & AI team, dedicated to the Data Analytics transformation project for one of the companyβs value centers. You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining ETL processes to facilitate and automate their data extraction needs and the creation of a Data mart to accommodate this data
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to support data integration between on-premises and cloud environments
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Ensure data quality and integrity through the implementation of validation and reconciliation processes
- Document ETL processes, data flows, and data architectures to ensure transparency and reproducibility
- Develop and implement data migration plans to transition data from on-premises systems to the cloud

- Experience with Fabric and Airflow other cloud orchestration tools
- Knowledge of distributed Data technologies such as Spark, Databricks, Synapse
- Experience working with various types of data, such as financial or manufacturing data
- Experience in collaborating with Data Science / ML engineering teams
