Join our rapidly growing fintech company, Parker, as we expand our team quickly. We're seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to develop new features and expand existing ones in our data pipeline system.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• 2-3 years of experience specifically in Data Engineering, open to candidates with a traditional Backend Engineering background but have projects related to and have strong interests in Data Engineering
• Background in fintech or e-commerce is a bonus but not required
• Experience with modern data engineering technologies such as ETL/ELT, data model design, and infrastructure tools like Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, dbt, Airflow/Dagster/Prefect, Glue, S3, Redshift, and Spark
• Proven ability to develop your own scalable products and applications from scratch
• Interest in building robust pipelines that are mission-critical for our business
• Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and collaborative spirit
• Ability to take feedback well and work effectively within a team

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other teams to design and develop new features and expand existing ones in our data pipeline system
• Improve data quality and monitoring by learning the existing system and implementing enhancements
• Establish standard processes for data ingestion and management
• Monitor data quality and ensure accuracy for team decisions and customer performance analytics
• Build and maintain data infrastructure and pipelines
