Summary

Join Pigment's growth team as a talented engineer and contribute to high-impact initiatives driving revenue and efficiency across GTM teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and revenue operations, to design and deploy scalable solutions. Build cloud functions, dbt models, and web app features to enhance data accessibility and interaction. Review code, make architectural decisions, and identify improvements for increased productivity and system stability. Work closely with non-engineer team members to understand their needs and develop company-level data projects. Define the team's tech roadmap and contribute to long-term planning. This role demands a growth mindset, ability to function in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

  • You have 2+ years of experience in an Engineering, Growth, or Data role
  • You have a Growth mindset and are interested in Sales/Marketing initiatives and challenges
  • You're able to function in a fast-paced environment, identifying and prioritizing what needs to get done without continuous direct instruction
  • You have a doer personality with the ability to own and build growth projects with attention to details
  • You can communicate with non-technical team members to understand their needs and define together the tasks you’ll be working on
  • You’re able to deliver fast when it’s needed and to come back to a project later to improve it
  • Experienced with Python and SQL
  • Experience with a cloud provider. We use GCP, so experience with this one in particular is even better (Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Tasks…)

Responsibilities

  • Build Cloud Functions to collect and enrich data using third party APIs
  • Build dbt models to leverage our data and make it actionable in our business tools (Salesforce, Hubspot, Slack, etc.)
  • Add new features to our web app (FastAPI/React) to allow internal users to access our data and interact with it
  • Review the code of fellow engineers
  • Take architectural design decisions to help our stack scale and to reduce complexity and bugs
  • Look for improvements to increase our productivity and make our system more stable (CI, refactorings, introduction of new tools…)
  • Collaborate with the non-engineer members of our team to understand their work/needs and find ways to help them
  • Develop company-level data projects by communicating with other teams and identifying opportunities for collaboration (especially with the revenue operations and marketing teams)
  • Work on longer term planning for our team by defining our tech roadmap for each quarter
