Summary

Join our team as a Sr Data Engineer and contribute to designing and developing scalable data pipelines, managing business intelligence tools, and driving analytical insights to support decision-making across the organization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer
  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
  • Proficient in SQL and Python
  • Experience with analytics data warehouses such as Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery
  • Proficiency in data pipeline and workflow management tools such as dbt, AWS Glue, Fivetran and Segment
  • Experience with business intelligence tools and familiarity with Sigma and Heap is a plus
  • Ability to learn new technologies and strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines to process structured and unstructured data from internal and third-party systems
  • Develop and manage ETL processes using dbt, ensuring data is clean, organized, and optimized
  • Develop accurate, well-documented, and flexible data models to serve as a single source of truth for the organization
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and develop internal and external reporting solutions to solve business problems and provide valuable insights primarily with Sigma
  • Implement and monitor data quality checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across all pipelines
  • Champion data privacy, quality, and security within the organization
