Summary

You will own and interface with other technology teams to build and maintain data pipelines using various AWS technologies and tools like dbt, Airflow, and Snowflake. Requirements

  • Amplitude
  • Google Tag Manager
  • 4+ years experience building data pipelines and platforms
  • 3+ years of experience working with AWS services (EC2, EKS, VPC, ELB, S3, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience in scripting languages such as Python
  • Experience with build, test, and deployment automation (CI/CD) technologies
  • Experience with cloud-based architecture, development, and deployment
  • Experience with data collecting, streaming, and processing technologies
  • Knowledge of Data Structures, SQL, and schema design best practices

Responsibilities

  • Own and interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS big data technologies
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using dbt, Airflow, and Snowflake, leveraging languages such as SQL, SnowSQL, and Python
  • Analyze business problems and deliver optimal solutions using AWS technologies, dbt, Airflow, and Snowflake
  • Creation and support of batch and real-time data pipelines built on AWS technologies including Glue, Kinesis, EMR, Lambda, and Athena
  • Develop tools, plug-ins, and solutions for CI/CD workflow using tools such as Jenkins, CloudFormation, Docker and GitHub
  • Maintain and support existing platforms and evolve to newer technology stacks and architectures
  • Collaborate with the business applications team, product owners, business stakeholders, and Scrum master to refine and estimate stories/epics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree
