Requirements

  • Must reside within the continental US while working
  • This role is W-2-only and it is a long-term contract position (no C2C arrangements)
  • We are unable to offer sponsorship for this role
  • Standard Eastern Time business hours and you must be exclusively dedicated to this role (no other simultaneous job engagements are permitted)
  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
  • A true passion for data and enthusiasm for the role
  • An inclination for action paired with the ability to ask insightful questions
  • Strong communication skills (and a sense of humor)
  • A humble approach to receiving and implementing feedback
  • 1-4 years of hands-on experience (including professional work or relevant co-op/internship experience)
  • Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation
  • Familiarity with Jenkins pipelines for basic CI/CD processes and automation
  • Basic knowledge of Google BigQuery (or similar) for cloud-based data storage and querying
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in a large enterprise environment
  • Advanced SQL expertise, including complex querying and optimization
  • Proficiency with Jenkins pipelines, managing CI/CD workflows, and automation
  • Strong experience with Google BigQuery (or similar), including advanced querying and cloud data management
  • Extensive use of DBT Core for complex data transformation, modeling, and pipeline development
  • Experience with Tableau to support or guide data visualization and reporting
  • Proficiency in Python (Pandas/NumPy) for advanced data manipulation and automation

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain reliable data pipelines
  • Streamline ETL/ELT processes
  • Contribute to a strong data foundation that enables informed decision-making across the business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to DBT Core for foundational data transformation and modeling
  • Familiarity with Tableau for supporting reporting efforts
  • Python (Pandas/NumPy) familiarity for data processing tasks
