Data Engineer, OPS

Summary

Join RCA, a software publisher near Nantes, as a Data Engineer. You will be part of an 18-person team, designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines for internal and external use. Responsibilities include building robust and scalable batch and streaming pipelines, migrating to real-time processing with Kafka, and deploying AWS components with Terraform. You will also contribute to data observability and work closely with data analysts and product managers. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in data engineering, strong Python and AWS skills, and familiarity with Snowflake, Airflow, Terraform, and Kafka. The position offers a CDI contract based in Nantes with up to 3 days of remote work per week or a fully remote option with occasional on-site visits.

Requirements

• 3 à 5 ans d’expérience en Data Engineering (ou plus si affinités !)
• Très bonne maîtrise de Python, AWS, ETL/ELT
• �� l’aise en environnement collaboratif, agile, avec une forte autonomie

Responsibilities

• Concevoir des pipelines batch & streaming robustes, scalables et maintenables
• Participer à la migration vers un traitement en temps réel (Kafka)
• Dockeriser les environnements Python et les intégrer aux pipelines CI/CD
• Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des architectures data
• Déployer des composants AWS avec Terraform en lien avec l’équipe plateforme (IAM, S3, EKS, ECS, etc.)
• Participer à la mise en place d’une observabilité Data (logs, qualité, monitoring)
• Accompagner les Data Analysts & PM dans l’industrialisation des solutions
• Travailler dans une logique "data as a product" : forte proximité avec les usages

Preferred Qualifications

• Connaissance de Snowflake, Airflow, Terraform, Kafka appréciée
• Intérêt pour les enjeux Ops : CI/CD, monitoring, performance

Benefits
