Data Governance Consultant

Summary

The job is for a position in the Professional Services team of DataGalaxy, a French leader in collaborative data management (SaaS) that is growing internationally. The role involves accompanying clients in deploying the DataGalaxy platform and ensuring its successful implementation through project management, data governance consulting, change management, and implementation support.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in consulting and project management
• Knowledge of data governance

Responsibilities

• Accompany clients in deploying the DataGalaxy platform
• Define the data governance strategy and roadmap
• Analyze and prioritize client needs
• Assist in the implementation of the solution
• Accompany change for optimal use and dissemination of the solution
• Regularly follow up on clients and their use of the platform in collaboration with Accounts Manager DataGalaxy
• Identify and coach on the implementation of new use cases

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of data modeling, inter-application architectures, and principal technologies
• Knowledge of SQL databases, BI tools (ETL) and DataViz, API REST, AngularJS, and Python
• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of SAML V2 protocol, Docker, Kubernetes, and GDPR principles
