Data Governance Lead

This long-term assignment with a client in Brussels involves leading the implementation and optimization of a data governance framework within a dynamic transportation environment. You will collaborate with Operations, Data & Planning, translating business needs into sustainable data structures. The role requires at least 5 years of experience leading data governance initiatives in large organizations, strong knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Data & Analytics, and fluency in Dutch, French, and English. Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience leading data governance initiatives within large organizations
• Thorough knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Data & Analytics
• Experience with the implementation of data protection and privacy by design
• You are fluent in Dutch, French and English
• You have a master's degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of a robust data governance framework
• Advise and support on data protection, privacy by design, and data modeling
• Select and implement leading data management tools
• Bridge the gap between Enterprise Architecture, business, and IT
• Work in a hybrid model, partly on-site in Brussels (Anderlecht), partly remote
