Data Infrastructure Engineer

Summary

The job description is for a Data Infrastructure Engineer position at Brevo, a fast-growing CRM suite company. Requirements

• Installation, setup & configuration of high availability, secure, and resilient hosting facilities in production environments 24/7
• Strong experience in MongoDB or/and Clickhouse (installation, configuration, performance tuning, and monitoring.)
• Proficiency in database schema design and data modeling
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar for automation tasks
• Experience with ETL processes and tools for data integration and transformation
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Understanding of cloud-based data solutions and services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for database deployment and management

Responsibilities

• Architect, build and maintain scalable and efficient data platforms using MongoDB and Clickhouse
• Monitor and optimize the performance of MongoDB and/or Clickhouse databases to ensure high availability and reliability
• Manage and maintain data storage solutions, ensuring data integrity, security, and backup/recovery processes
• Develop and implement data integration processes to ensure seamless data flow between systems
• Work closely with internal teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
• Implement automation for data processing pipelines to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
• Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to data services
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, processes, and procedures
