Data Management Specialist

Summary

Join Experian as a Data Management Specialist II and design ongoing and ad-hoc reports and dashboards to support a product that helps data furnishers maintain data quality. Collaborate with partners to identify opportunities for improved data delivery, translating needs into reporting requirements. You will understand requirements to create desired product outcomes, translate needs into clear data analytics reports, and manage important client projects. Ensure data availability by retrieving it from multiple sources and consulting with partners on product creation and delivery to enhance data reporting quality. This role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years of relevant experience, and knowledge of Python, SQL, and analytical tools. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or related field or equivalent experience
• 2 or more years of relevant experience
• Basic knowledge or Python language
• Critical thinking with the ability to identify and relate business problems to data quality issues and vice versa
• Work with diverse teams including technology, operations, marketing and sales
• Creatively work through multiple system constraints and create holistic dashboards/reports based on data from diverse sources
• Credit bureau data and financial industry knowledge
• Knowledge of SQL language and concepts of database (DB2 and Vertica)
• (Word, Excel (can perform complex functions), PowerPoint)
• Experience working with analytical tools for business purposes (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, Alteryx)

Responsibilities

• Understand requirements to create the desired product outcome whether it is an ad hoc request or an ongoing product offering
• Translate needs into clear data analytics reports
• Be responsible for important client projects and always deliver the product
• Ensure the data is available, retrieving the data from a multiple data source, ordering the data
• Consult with partners: marketing, sales, consulting, operations, and clients concerning requirements for product creation, build and delivery to enhance data reporting quality

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AWS services (e.g., Athena, Glue, SageMaker)
