As a Data Manager, you will lead the data management strategy, overseeing data collection, storage, governance, and analysis to support strategic decision-making. You will lead a high-performing data team, collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop data pipelines and dashboards, and champion data quality and governance. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL, BI tools, and data platforms, and experience in finance, data analytics, or digital transformation. Requirements

• Experience in Finance, Data Analytics, or Digital Transformation roles
• Strong understanding of financial processes and systems (e.g., SAP, ERPs, regulatory reporting)
• Proficiency in SQL, BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker), and data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake)
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects in a matrixed environment
• Strategic thinking and a problem-solving mindset, with excellent communication skills
• Experience in Fintechs, Banks, or Technology companies

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of comprehensive Finance Data Strategy
• Lead a high-performing data team focused on building “Data products” in data bricks
• Collaborate with Finance, Tech, and Data teams to translate business needs into data solutions
• Develop and maintain automated, scalable data pipelines and dashboards (e.g. QS, Databricks)
• Champion data quality, integrity, and governance within financial systems and reports
• Act as a Product Owner for finance data initiatives, prioritizing and managing the backlog
• Train and support Finance team members in data literacy and self-service analytics
• Serve as the main point of contact between Finance and the centralized Data team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in startups or high-growth environments
• Fluency in English is a plus
• Spanish or Portuguese required
• Exposure to AI/ML use cases in finance
• Familiarity or experience with SAP/Oracle
• Certification in Databricks
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve problems efficiently
• Knowledge of the Finance or Regulatory areas
