Data Platform Intern

Summary

Join Artefact, a data-driven consulting firm, as a Lead Data Platform expert to co-lead a team of 6 data professionals. You will be responsible for developing and overseeing the existing data infrastructure, ensuring the quality of data products, and building automation tools for internal processes. This role is 100% internal, focusing on building and improving Artefact's data platform, with no client-facing responsibilities. You will be involved in various data-driven initiatives, such as providing self-service data access to employees, automating invoice creation and sending, and optimizing mission creation and staffing.

Requirements

• Demonstrate technical leadership by upskilling the team and co-creating the best possible solutions to address submitted problems
• Articulate technical choices, find compromises, and persuade high-level stakeholders to maximize the team's positive impact on Artefact
• Master the modern data stack (BigQuery, dbt, Airbyte, ...)
• Have practical experience in data governance
• Possess programming skills (Python or similar, ...)
• Be familiar with DevOps principles and automation tools (CI/CD, Docker, Terraform...)
• Have experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP

Responsibilities

• Develop and supervise the existing data infrastructure
• Ensure the quality of existing data products
• Build automation tools for internal processes
• Be the technical leader of the team, driving the technical vision
• Guarantee the timely and high-quality delivery of data, crucial for Artefact's operations
• Guide and inspire a talented team of data engineers and analysts, helping them reach their full potential
• Collaborate closely with finance, HR, and consulting teams, understanding their needs and proposing innovative productivity solutions and tools
• Leverage your curiosity and passion for innovation to stay at the forefront of technology, constantly proposing new ideas to evolve the technical stack
