Requirements

  • Can commit to a minimum of 64 hours of work per month, between Monday to Friday, UK time zone (this is a contractor contract, โ€œoutside IR35โ€)
  • You have at least 4+ years of experience in a data protection-oriented role and have certifications such as CIPP/E or C-DPO and IAPP Membership
  • You have demonstrable experience working with UK/EU GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, PECR, UK/EEA and International data transfers
  • Are self-motivated and thrive on working independently, and can manage your workload effectively without constant oversight
  • You have worked with multiple customer/contractor roles
  • You have exceptional customer-facing and stakeholder management skills to build and maintain excellent customer relationships
  • You are confident in leading not always the easiest conversations on strategic data protection matters at the C-Suite or Board Level while taking a risk-based approach
  • You have an exceptional understanding of risk management, including monitoring, advising and reporting on risks
  • You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills - simplifying complex topics comes naturally to you
  • You have experience creating data protection documentation and assets (such as IARs, RoPAs, privacy notices, etc.)
  • You have experience in handling data subject access requests, incidents and breaches in line with data protection regulations
  • You have outstanding organisational & time management skills to manage your time and work towards delivering outstanding results
  • You are tech-savvy and not afraid to engage with technology

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Data Privacy Advisor for a mutually agreed number of Trust Keith customers
  • Manage the implementation of our product with your customers throughout customer journey, ensuring implementation progress is in line with SLAs
  • Lead on customer calls, including Risk Committee meetings and monthly workshop calls, identifying and communicating the highest risks, and problem-solving data privacy challenges via the Trust Keith app
  • Manage customersโ€™ data protection support queries in line with data compliance requirements and our SLAs
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of your customers' risks and priorities by conducting data protection audits (which our app makes easy)
  • Constantly improve customer relationships, monitor their growth, and tailor our service to their needs throughout their journey
  • Provide customer feedback on our app back to our Product Team
