Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in data quality assurance, data analysis, or related roles
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing data
• Advanced Excel skills, including functions, formulas, PivotTables, and data visualization techniques
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing and validation of data to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and reliability
• Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on data requirements and specifications
• Execute test cases to validate data integrity and functionality
• Analyze large data sets to identify data quality issues, anomalies, and discrepancies
• Investigate root causes and propose solutions for resolution
• Document test results, findings, and issues encountered during testing
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of data quality processes and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and IT professionals to understand data needs and ensure data quality standards are met
• Generate reports and metrics to track data quality performance
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is desirable
• Knowledge API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured, or similar is desirable
