Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a QA role, with a particular focus on Data QA
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Proficiency in SQL or BigQuery Standard SQL for data validation and testing
  • Experience with automated UI testing tools
  • Understanding of ML models and methodologies for QA’ing training data
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Be hands-on in performing Data QA and building Plans
  • Collaborate with engineering and data science teams to understand product changes and define applicable tests
  • Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, focusing particularly on data integrity and logic
  • Carry out functional, integration, and regression testing, with a focus on data testing
  • Identify, log, and track defects throughout the testing process, ensuring that all data and UI issues are effectively addressed
  • Use queries or other tools to validate data, verify transformation rules, and conduct back-end testing
  • Implement automated UI testing processes using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Pixalate's QA methodologies
