Full Stack AI & Data Engineer

Summary

The job is for a Full Stack AI & Data Engineer at Reveleer, a healthcare data and analytics company that uses AI to help health plans manage their Quality Improvement, Risk Adjustment, and Member Management programs. The role involves working on the event-driven architecture, building new internal web applications, backend APIs, and improving the existing backend architecture for natural language processing.

Requirements

• Extensive experience building scalable software from conception to production
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React, Vue, Ember, or Angular, and JavaScript/Typescript
• Strong proficiency with writing backend software using Python and web API frameworks such as DRF, Flask, Starlette, or FastAPI
• Strong proficiency building intricate event-driven infrastructure using CloudFormation or Terraform on AWS
• Proficient with both SQL and NoSQL database systems
• Experience designing and building CI/CD workflows using Bitbucket Pipelines or similar technologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Work on building, maintaining, and scaling our event-driven architecture responsible for processing large volumes of medical documents monthly
• Design, build, and maintain a new internal web application using modern web technologies and best practices
• Design, build, and maintain a new backend API using modern technologies and best practices
• Work to extend and improve the existing backend architecture powering a multi-step natural language processing workflow
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical solutions and business objectives
• Contribute to the development of next-gen NLP architecture using a mix of machine-learning and classical NLP, with a focus on scale, performance, and security

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years experience as a software engineer across the stack
• Emotionally intelligent team player with passion for continuous learning and evolution
• Ability to perform code-reviews and participate in collaborative engineering discussions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment at the crossroad of startup hustle culture meets rapid scale-out
• Experience with healthcare interoperability such as CCD/FHIR/HL7
• Experience with NLP & ML technologies like spaCy, bedrock, regression, LLM, etc
