Summary

Join Sia Partners as a VIE in Data Science to support the development of its Milan office and contribute to various projects related to machine learning, operational research, big data, and GenAI. The ideal candidate has a degree from an engineering school or high-level training in information processing, statistical engineering, and econometrics, with experience in Big Data or Data Science.

Requirements

• Degree from an engineering school or high-level training in information processing, statistical engineering, and econometrics
• Experience in Big Data or Data Science (internship or 1st job)
• Excellent level in statistics and quantitative analysis
• Master programming in R (or equivalent: SAS, Matlab...) and solid foundation in scripting languages (Python, Perl, JS, bash) or compiled (C++, Java)
• Experience in UNIX/LINUX environments

Responsibilities

• Support the development of its Milan office
• Contribute to various projects related to machine learning and statistics, operational research, big data, and GenAI
• Participate in internal activities for the firm based on axes such as the development or reinforcement of offers through training, working groups, internal and external support distribution
