Data Science Internship

Summary

Join Culture Amp's Melbourne Data Science Internship Program from 25 November 2024 to 28 February 2025! Gain hands-on experience working with a supportive team, exposure to talented data scientists, and expand your technical skills. This role is suitable for students pursuing a degree in Data Science, Software Engineering, Statistics/Mathematics (or related STEM fields) who are self-motivated, curious, proactive communicators, and aligned with Culture Amp's values.

Requirements

• You are currently working toward a degree in Data Science, Software Engineering, Statistics/Mathematics (or a related STEM field) and expect to complete it within the next year
• You are self-motivated and can work independently. You take the initiative to ensure you have everything you need to work efficiently and call for support when required
• You are curious, have a growth mindset and you are willing to embrace challenges
• You are willing to learn to work with the required scientific packages that Culture Amp uses to answer research questions and develop prototypes - you are likely to find yourself working with Python and SQL
• You are a proactive and clear communicator. You value empathy and kindness and are able to articulate your ideas and feelings when writing or speaking, and are open to the perspectives others bring

Responsibilities

• Tackle challenging data driven problems and explore solutions to inform feature building within your team
• Collaborate with other scientists, data engineers, machine learning engineers and software engineers in your team
• Work with the product managers and designers in your team to understand customer problems and help to develop, refine, and then implement solutions
• Produce quality documentation around research findings and recommendations
