The role involves defining product requirements, maintaining and upgrading existing climate methodologies and models, developing new ones, and supporting the testing and validation phases of climate products.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Good knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning and strong methodology background
• Expertise in climate analytics or background in a related field with strong interest in climate
• Fast learner with the ability to work on projects independently
• Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure
• Natural tendency to be curious, positive and creative
• Team player who collaborates well with others

Responsibilities

• Define product requirements for climate offerings in collaboration with the Product Specialist and Product Manager
• Become an owner of our existing climate methodologies and models. Ensure these methodologies and models remain state-of-the-art
• Develop methodologies and models for new climate offerings
• Serve as climate methodology and models expert to the sales team in technical presentations and to the technology teams during productionalization
• Support the testing and validation phases of climate products
• Support the launch of climate products
