Requirements

  • Hold a Master’s degree in IT or relevant domain, combined with relevant professional experience of 3 years
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in the development of algorithms related to data analysis
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in using at least one of the following programming languages (Python, C, C++, R, Java)
  • Have at least 3 years of specific experience in the application of computer science methods and techniques to efficiently solve data-based problems
  • Possess experience with software development and large databases/matrices
  • Possess experience in assisting researchers with the use of data-based solutions, during relevant parts of their testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and dissemination of results (including in scientific research project/papers)
  • Have excellent knowledge of MATLAB (including toolboxes related to Image Processing, Mapping, Parallel Computing, Database Management, Statistics and Optimization), MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Have excellent knowledge of Java applications development and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
  • Have excellent command of the English language

Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis and data modelling
  • Manage existing databases related to alternative fuels charging infrastructure
  • Prepare updates of existing databases with new datasets
  • Develop and maintain spatial coverage analysis models
  • Create, coordinate and review interfaces for data communication between different models and frameworks
  • Prepare technical, scientific documentation and reports
  • Interact with business analysts, customers, users, project leaders and developers

Preferred Qualifications

Have knowledge of the following tools/technologies: Oracle (PL/SQL), integration of web-based user interfaces (e.g. Spring, JSF), JavaScript development frameworks (e.g. Angular 2), data integration frameworks (e.g. JPA) and econometrics tools/libraries
